Realizing The Dream

I’ve spent the last few months trying to figure out what I want to do with my life. It hasn’t been easy by any means and I lost myself for a bit along the way, but I now realize that my soul tells me to advocate for myself and everyone around me.
I realize that it doesn’t matter if nobody recognizes what I do as long as I do everything in my power to help, to do good in this world. I’ve been advocating my entire life, it’s second nature to me.
Whether it’s through public speaking, music, or literally any type of creative outlet you can think of, I've always tried to drive home a clear message about giving people equality and allowing them to have a voice. I feel so strong about this because I literally had to fight for my voice and have to continue to do so.
I get cut off all the time, asked to repeat myself, asked to spell words when people don’t understand and more. Yet, somehow I always get my point across with my own voice... Eventually.
The thing that most people don’t seem to understand is that my voice is all I have and I've figured out how I can use it to help others.
I now know that advocating in creative ways is my true calling, passion, and life’s work. Without advocacy, I truly wouldn’t be who or where I am today.
